NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Corporate Authorities of the Village
of Bradley, Kankakee County, Illinois, will hold a public hearing
on July 8, 2020 at 5:30 pm at the Village of Bradley Administrative
Building, 147 S. Michigan Avenue, Bradley, Illinois 60915. At said
hearing, the Corporate Authorities will provide any and all interested
parties with an opportunity to express their views on certain proposed
Downstate Small Business Stabilization applications funded
by Community Development Block Grant (“CDBG”) funds.
On or about July 8, 2020 the Village of Bradley intends to apply to
the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a
series of grants from the State CDBG program. This program is funded
by Title 1 of the federal Housing and Community Development
Act of 1974, as amended. These funds are to be used to provide
working capital for the benefit of the following local businesses:

The total amount of CDBG funds to be requested is $658,900.00,
which will be used to address the urgent needs of the aforementioned
businesses due to the COVID-19 emergency.
Information related to these applications will be available for review
prior to the public hearing as of June 30, 2020 at the Village of Bradley
Administration Building, 147 S. Michigan Avenue, Bradley, Illinois
60915 Monday-Friday (excluding holidays) between the hours of
8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Interested citizens are invited to provide
comments regarding these issues either at the public hearing or by
prior written statement. Written statements should be submitted to
the Village by mail (Village of Bradley, 147 S. Michigan Avenue,
Bradley, Illinois 60915, Attn: Khamseo Nelson or by email kbnelson@
bradleyil.org no later than July 7, 2020 to ensure placement of
such comments in the official record of the public hearing proceedings.
This project will result in no displacement of any persons or
businesses. For additional information concerning the proposed
