The Village of Bradley institutes security camera program.
The security camera program creates an opportunity for residents, businesses, non-profit and religious institutions to purchase and install security cameras that are intended to help deter crime and assist law enforcement with investigations. The program offers rebates for the purchases of security cameras.
This program was suggested by Mayor Watson and the elected officials as an initiative for investing in our community with the emphasis on continuing our public safety strategies and building a strong and lasting neighborhood and commercial partnerships.
Applicants can apply for a security camera rebate of up to $200.00 per residential address and $100.00 per address of a nonresidential address. Only one security camera system per property address is eligible, and security cameras must be installed on the exterior of a building.
Access to the camera can only be given voluntarily by the owner applicant. There is no camera registration required and all information shared through this program to receive the rebate will be kept confidential unless disclosure is otherwise required by law.
